How we match Mentors & Mentees (Mentor Matching Process)

 

The mentor matching process for the Alumni Society Mentor Program is very holistic. We look at the goals and interests of students and match them with the interests and job descriptions of alumni mentor volunteers. We will not match only on the basis of which school participants are affiliated with (Journalism & Mass Communications or Library & Information Science). Both mentors and mentees are free to request another pairing with no questions asked. Also, mentors and mentees are welcome to request a specific match; these requests will be filled to the best of our abilities.
